Internship Program

Designed to facilitate an introduction into the clinical setting of a practicing therapist through education, clinical skill-based trainings, individual and group supervision sessions, shadowing opportunities, and ultimately building a personal caseload. Student's will be engaged in multiple therapeutic modalities to reinforce the development of their unique approach to mental health support for their clients.


Program Design

This program has been designed based on general licensure and university requirements for students, codes of ethics, strategic planning amongst Mental Edge team members, and feedback of past internship students.

This program will continue to grow and flourish through the years. Success of this program is dependent on both the Mental Edge team members at the lead as well as the selected students who participate in the program.

95% Intern licensure on first attempt.

Staff of 25 licensed clinicians.
