Personal Philosophy: I believe every person has a story that deserves to be heard with compassion, respect, and understanding. It is a true honor when someone trusts me with their journey, their struggles, and the parts of their story that may feel difficult to share. I believe our perspectives shape our reality—the way we view ourselves, our experiences, and the world around us can deeply influence how we move through life. Through a supportive and collaborative therapeutic relationship, I help clients explore those perspectives, heal from painful experiences, recognize their strengths, and create meaningful change.
As a faith-based therapist, I believe healing involves the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. I honor each client’s beliefs and values while integrating faith when it is meaningful and desired by the individual. My goal is to create a safe space where clients feel accepted, valued, and empowered as they move toward healing and growth.
Path into Mental Health: I chose the field of mental health because I genuinely love people and feel deeply honored to be invited into their stories. I have always been drawn to understanding what shapes people, what they have endured, and what helps them find strength and hope again. I believe that even through painful experiences, people have the capacity for healing, growth, and transformation. Walking alongside clients as they discover their resilience and reconnect with themselves is one of the most meaningful parts of my work.
Experience: I am a licensed social worker with specialized training in trauma-informed care and EMDR therapy. My clinical work has focused on supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the lasting impact of difficult experiences. I bring a compassionate, client-centered approach that combines evidence-based practices with genuine connection and understanding.
Through my training and experience, I have learned that each person’s healing journey is unique. I strive to meet clients where they are, honor their experiences, and provide a supportive environment where they can process the past, find healing in the present, and move toward a future that aligns with their values and goals.
