"You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated." - Maya Angelou

Personal Philosophy: I believe that every person has the capacity to grow, heal, and create meaningful change in their life. My approach to counseling is rooted in compassion, empathy, and authenticity, while integrating evidence-based modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to explore their experiences and build self-awareness. My goal is to support clients in developing confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.

Experience: I have experience working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My work is informed by a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens, with a focus on strengthening emotional regulation, improving communication, and fostering healthier relationships. I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, build coping skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
