Telemedicine is a virtual approach to counseling sessions. We use a variety of telemedicine services to provide exceptional care and information to our clients/patients and their families daily. We also have providers that offer telemedicine to remotely connect to their clients to provide medication management services as well as therapy appointments.

How To Prepare For Your Appointment

You will receive a reminder text message, phone call, or email confirming your appointment date and time a few days prior. Please make sure that you will have access to a secure location and you are not using a public device. We also recommend using the most reliable connection to access the Internet (wired connection where available). Please log into your provider’s virtual “waiting room” and they will be with you shortly! 

Please note that telemedicine is not available with all providers and may not be suitable in all cases.

Is Telemedicine HIPAA Compliant?

The video-conferencing platform is HIPAA-compliant, so all communication between the client/patient and their provider(s) is secure and private.

Is Telemedicine Offered If I am not currently in Delaware?

As long as the client/patient is located in the State of Delaware, they are welcome to connect remotely with their provider to complete the appointment. Unfortunately, we are unable to conduct telemedicine appointments if the client/patient is physically located outside of the State of Delaware at the time of the scheduled appointments due to state laws and licensing requirements.
